🌊 Water Safety Day – Penzance Promenade 🚁🚤

What a fantastic day at Penzance Promenade for our Water Safety Day community engagement event.

The Penzance Neighbourhood Policing Team were delighted to attend alongside so many incredible partner agencies and emergency services. Together, we engaged with hundreds of adults and children, answering lots of thoughtful questions and sharing important water safety advice.

It was wonderful to hear so much positive feedback from the community. Many people told us how valuable it was to have so many services in one place, accessible and available for a chat, allowing everyone to learn more about the work we do to help keep our communities safe.

One of the highlights of the day was undoubtedly watching the RNLI Penlee Lifeboat working alongside the helicopter, providing a fantastic demonstration that captivated everyone watching.

A huge thank you to all the services, volunteers, organisers, and community members who attended and helped make the day such a special success. Events like these are a great reminder of the strength of partnership working and the importance of engaging with our local community.
